Following breakfast, you’ll check out of your camp, relax for a bit then proceed to Ol kiombo Airstrip for morning flight departing at 11:00 a.m. to arrive at 12:20 a.m. at Wilson Airport. On arrival, you’ll be met by our driver guide and proceed to Karen Blixen Coffee Garden for your delectable lunch. After enjoying your lunch, proceed to the adjacent Karen Blixen Museum. This museum was once the center piece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. If you loved the movie Out of Africa, you’ll love this museum in the farmhouse where author Karen Blixen lived between 1914 and 1931. From the Museum, proceed to the famous Nairobi Giraffe Centre where you’ll get to encounter the endangered Rothschild giraffes and even hand-fed them. Spend about an hour here before proceeding to Carnivore Restaurant for your farewell dinner. The restaurant’s specialty is meat that are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge charcoal pit that dominates the restaurant’s entrance. The restaurant also has a place for vegetarians who will be well catered for and in an all eat as much as they can set. From Carnivore you’ll be dropped off at Nairobi Sheraton Hotel where you’re booked on bed and breakfast to spend your night.
